"While on a cruise we heard there was a statue of Marilyn Monroe in this particular port. Our plan for the day was to take public transportation around the city and walk a bit. Coincidentally our Hostess on the ship had a tattoo of Marilyn on her arm. When she heard we were going to the statue, she also went to see it. The statue is located in a scenic spot (boardwalk) along the river where you can dine and view the statue. A bit nostalgic to see and take photos. We weren’t the only ones taking photos, but only took a few minutes to take our own."
