"Such a beautiful University of Bergen botanical garden a very accessible area by train to Birkelandskiftet then take a 53 bus via Hjellestad and drop off to last stop Milde. On good Friday my family spent hours walking all areas and so calm and peaceful and beautiful and warmer area than in City center. Good for side tour while waiting for late flight as it is very close to the airport."

"May your holidays be sunny, and may you see this place during the driest months:March or April. Also on average for most of the year, each month has about 13 days of rain. That is like saying it rains once every two days. Well...still positive I hope? This is one of the most beautiful gardens on earth so still worthwhile to visit. Imagine some well kept state gardens in Europe, neat and with trim lawns, then imagine the gardener has gone slightly overboard, imagine the flowers are all slightly excessive, everything is everywhere, definitely not need and tidy, then you picture this place in the summer time(July) with all its glory."
