"We were here primarily for a talk and tour of the fish farm. The museum itself is small but interesting. It won't take long to see it. Food in the restaurant is traditional Norwegian and very good."

"It was a beautiful little trip outside Bergen sentrum , Oygarden is such a beautiful Island and rich kommune . I maybe did not managed to visit inside the museum as it closes at 17:00 on Sundays but yet i just love the beautiful sorroundings. The history of fisherman's life back in the day, and in this modern days locals do fishing as a sideline job or a extra income, or rather a hobby for some. Good to do this trip if you are waiting for your late flight as it's just an hour by local bus to Ågotnes terminal then take another bus 479 number about 20 minutes to Ovågen."
