Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Museum of North Macedonia to be a compact and informative stop, particularly praising its ethnographic section with traditional bridal garments. While the building's condition and dated presentation are noted drawbacks, the friendly staff and often free admission make it a worthwhile experience for those with a spare hour seeking a glimpse into Macedonian heritage.

"Extremely small, basically 1 room that brings some information about Macedonian/Greek of the mid 1920s till today. Few information. The museum building is mainly empty and partly run down.
But: no entrance fee (at least with my visit there)"

Tyllo Moscato

The Ethnographic section is the best with a good array of bridal garments.
A good proportion of the exhibits have English explanations.
Staff were great.
Don’t put it top of your list in Skopje, but if you’ve a spare hour, this is worth experiencing."

Craig Milne

"Best museum in the city! If you don’t know much about the history just like me, this museum is the best! Not so long that won’t bore you but you’ll be learning the history at the same time. There three parts: history, archaeology and traditional. And staff was so friendly and helpful. If you are a student, don’t forget to mention you can get a discount."
