Reviews Summary

Deboj Hammam is a historical site in Bitola, noted for its 17th/18th-century origins. Visitors should be aware that parts of the building and its internal heating devices are demolished, impacting the overall experience. It's a place that evokes history through its remnants rather than offering a fully preserved attraction.

"Place needs to be restored"

Jovan GJ

"It is assumed that Yeni Hamam was built in the 17th century or early 18th century, when Bitola was in its economic heyday. As a result of the Austro-Turkish wars of the late 17th century, when the economic power of Bitola and other cities began to decline, most likely towards the end of the 18th century some public administration buildings were abandoned. It is not excluded that a similar fate befell Yeni Hamam.
Today, part of the building is completely demolished, as are the internal heating devices."
