"Our stay at Villa Cielo was wonderful. The house was stunning and perfect for our extended family getaway. There was plenty of room and beds and bathrooms for everyone to be comfortable and the amenities are modern.
Our concierge, Javiera, did a fabulous job at making everything go seamlessly. When we couldn’t figure out why the living room was hot at 10:30 at night, she had maintenance out to the house in about 20 min. She coordinated and facilitated our big group with ease, recommending activities for the kids and adults alike. She was attentive and accommodating and honestly made the stay incredibly memorable. We loved working with her and are very grateful for her!
We also did massages at the spa (phenomenal), monkey scouting (thanks Eddy!), sea turtle hatching, a nature hike and a bonfire with smores. We wish we could have stayed longer as there is so much more to see and do. 10 out of 10 recommend this resort!"

"Javiera & Yoseling were both professional and provided the upmost elegant service to our stay. Chef Roberto did an amazing job with our meals and each meal was delicious. Elvin & Louisa cleaned up well after & our cleaning staff made everything spotless each day. Oscar drove us all around safely & was a pleasure to speak with. Eddy gave us an unforgettable experience with the monkey scouting & turtle hatching. Gustavo gave us quite a rundown on all the different birds we can find on the property during our bird watching experience. Overall, an unforgettable experience. "We enjoyed a really special week at Rancho Santana. Beautiful location - ocean, beaches, pools, restaurants - all were fabulous! Regarding security (since everyone asked me) we felt very safe the entire trip, with staff from Rancho Santana picking us up right at the airport (which I highly recommend) and taking us directly to the property which has security - note that it is a couple hour drive. This part of Nicaragua reminds me a lot of Mexico just south of Cancun in the 1990's... Regarding the staff at Rancho Santana - they are the best. A special call out to them, as my wife injured her ankle (jumping off a surf board!), and the staff was fabulous: from helping carry her to the vehicle, to getting her to a great little clinic just outside the property, to providing crutches, and then making sure the rest of the trip she was comfortable both at the pool and at restaurants. They were very attentive and helpful. Really a wonderful week!"
