Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Port Craig for its incredible history and the unique atmosphere created by nature reclaiming old timber town relics. The challenging Hump Ridge Track access is seen as part of the adventure, leading to rewarding coastal views and wildlife encounters. However, the relentless sandflies and the demanding nature of the hike can detract from the experience for some.

"Been here a number of times over the years.
A long walk in but a fantastic area.
Some of its history can still be found in the debri and relics being claimed back by the Bush.
It's hard to fathom that this was once a sizable community.
I've swum with dolphins off the end of the old piers but I understand some sizeable Conga Eels live there as well.
Sandflies are copious and with the Hump track there so are the tempers sometimes.
Not a place of isolation anymore as it once was."

Gerard McCall
