Logging down at the bottom made for a pretty rough track at the start - I wouldn't recommend novice riders try that part of the Perimeter Loop unless they are confident on rough/unstable ground."

"We are parked up at this NZMCA park was just going to be 1 night but the veiw of the lake the cycle track is fantastic . A clean toilet with a flush system in place. Dog friendly must be on a leash, got a area to let the dog off the leash but must be under control at all times and pick up after him."
