What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find DeBretts Hot Springs to be a fun and relaxing experience, especially for families with its hydroslides and varied pools. While some feel it might be a 'one-visit' destination for some, the clean facilities and enjoyable thermal waters are consistently praised. The steep walk down is a common point, and bringing your own food is advised.
"Was pretty quiet when we arrived. Prepare for a pretty steep hike down to the springs. We had several bits and bobs to take down, and by the time that was done, my calfs wanted to exploded so soaking them in the hot water was a must. There is plenty to do for the young ones. Slides for kids only with a 90kg limit. But overall nice day and there's a little shop to buy ice cream and drinks."

"I heard so much about the place but it didn’t make to my expectations. Good fun for a day maybe but to stay as vacation for a few days i might not recommend since the pools are basic and one time visit would suffice. Maybe a picnic area, restaurant, movies in the pool and more variety of pools and slides could spice the place up.
It wasn’t crowded though and we could relax in the pools ( school holidays visits)
The cabins are clean and have small kitchen. Towels provided. Kitchen stuff are good. Has fridge, microwave, dishwasher and hot plate, rice cooker, toaster etc."

"Great place to take the family for 3-4 hours at the hot pools and hydra slides. Also good for young children. No cafe down near the pools though so bring your own food and water perhaps. Currently some pools being repaired but most facilities and pools are available. Recommended."
