"Excellent small village"

"Lovely shady square, with beautiful old trees. There are picnic tables and the square is surrounded by coffee shops, cafes and other food and drink options. I particularly like the neat gelato and sorbet stand that appears on hot days. Very refreshing!! The Square memorial itself honours past citizens of the village that served in foreign wars, some of whom lost their lives in the service of their country. They are now honoured with a well-cared for memorial and attractive gardens. Well worth taking the time to check out this location and rest a few minutes in the shade of an old oak tree."
