"Fabulous, quirky exhibits that you won't see anywhere else and hosted by a very nice curator gent who's an artist himself and has contributed to a small part of the exhibition.
Thoroughly enjoyed it!!"

Trevor Childs

"This museum is simply mind-blowing!
I first visited it in its early days when the owner had just opened it and it was great then, but now, a few years later, it's simply fantastic.
The museum is ideal if you want to feast on a range of curiosities from around the world and across many eras of history. You can see incredible displays of animal species, various cultures and their superstitions, medical paraphernalia, paranormal and mystical items, relics salvaged from a notorious local insane asylum, AND incredible original artworks made of bone by the owner, who is also an internationally-acclaimed artist.
It's displays include some very rare items and the information provided is informative and intriguing, much more enlightening and interesting than the dull labels that often prevail in traditional museums.
It's only a short walk from George Street and is in close proximity to Olveston (another Dunedin attraction).
The entry fee is very cheap, and the friendly animal in charge of the museum is an excellent conversationalist.
Just go!"
