"It was an interesting place to learn about the original inhabitants of Noumea, the Kanaks. We were immersed in their culture and way of life. Their respect and love to nature and how it reflects in their daily lives. It was a pleasurable walk and visiting the traditional houses was great. We saw how they are great architects and the functionality of the houses and its role in the community. It’s definitely worth a visit!"

"Visit here totally surpassed my expectations!
I had thought there might be a small visitor centre with a few exhibits and we called in on route to the Blue Lakes. However, it was well worth the one hour visit. Extremely culturally sensitive exhibits, impressive architecture, and beautiful surrounding walks. Highly recommend."

Val C

"If you have a couple of hours spare in Noumea, it's worth visiting the cultural centre, only 15min drive, cost 2000CXP. Don't miss the last guided tour at 2pm or walk on your own though most information in French, they have free wifi so you can always translate. Great sunset view as well."
