"A difficult review to write as on balance I think everything was an overall 4 star. For a short summary I have written down the pros and cons so you can prepare before you stay here. I think it is worth staying here and the location and facilities are lovely.
Pros:
- We stayed in the 20 person house and the rooms were all a great size and the lounge/kitchen/dining table area was really well proportioned for that many people
- The house was clean and felt cosy
- The jacuzzi was clean and there was a great outdoor space
- The restaurant was great and there was a nice heated outdoor pool
- They gave us a free drink when we checked in as the house was not ready by 16:00
Cons
- The bunk beds in 3 rooms are tiny, so the children in our group that were over 170cm tall could not fit in comfortably.
- The jacuzzi wasn't on and I had called before hand to arrange for that
- They have this whatsapp system to contact the reception which is infuriariting. Receiving pre-written replies and the same question, over and over again. It is actually impossible to speak to a human even when you get the number. In the end someone comes.
- We had some challenges in the house, to be expected, but in the end it was better to live with the problems than try to ask for help. For example, they only had single sheets for the double beds for our entire stay, we asked for the bulbs to be replaced, which they did but with broken ones. And in the end the system of asking for help is too difficult to bother to try and resolve your issues
- The house comes with nothing, no toilet roll, no hand soap, no salt and pepper, no basics. So bring everything"

"Location was beautiful. Home was dirty. The hot tub that we booked was slimy ( that I slid off the seat), water was murky you couldn't see legs in the water and the water smelled so so bad! I thought the smell was the heat cover.... we drained and cleaned the pool ourselves, it took an hour of scrubbing. Filled it again and was fine. I got an ear and bladder infection from the disgusting bacteria water."
