"Amazing place : beautiful church and (i think) former abbey, charming garden and gorgeous natural environement !!!"

"Hotel, meeting place, wine maker; room quality vary a lot."

"Positives: from the first phone contact to our goodbyes, service was superb. Staff was very nice, helpful and obliging.
We were late for our massages (about 7min) but nobody mentioned it and we still got the full length of it- which I would say is rather unique - normally they would cut it short.
Dinner (in Bistro de Liege) was a culinary adventure (Game bullion and Rib eye steak - WOW!) and their wine selection was a treat itself. Also their side bread (sourdough in The Netherlands!!!!), was amazing and we ate shameful amount of it!
They are truly dog friendly, and our dog felt as welcomed as we were. She was provided with big comfortable cushion and bowl filled with some treats. All over the spacious grounds there were bowls with water.
Breakfast was amazing. For many people hotel breakfast it’s just breakfast, but I like to take my time with my morning meal and everything was fresh, very high quality and with plenty of choice!

Negatives: they were very few and minor.
I was not super happy with the spa. While staff there were friendly and helpful, I could hear children screaming in the pool, and a massage therapist talking with different client in a different massage room, as they were only separated by the curtain. People were coming and going shutting the door not so quietly behind them. My masseuse was nice, but very quick with her hands so it was more like a sports massage rather than a relaxing one. Definitely not my best. I have to say thou, that my husband was very happy with his massage, and evaluated it as one of the best he ever had.
Another little detail was, that during the dinner my husband got his wine immediately, and I waited for mine through two courses. We reminded the waitress twice before I got it. I did have my sparkling water so no hard feelings about that.

Overall we were very pleased with our stay! While not the cheapest amongst our other romantic weekends, we definitely can recommend it - especially to the dog owners, as there are not many similar places for them."
