What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Leiden City Hall is appreciated for its beautiful 17th-century architecture and the enchanting melodies of its carillon, which can be enjoyed on Wednesdays. While the building itself is primarily administrative, its central location makes it a great starting point for exploring the historic city. Some visitors have reported slow customer service for administrative matters.
"I got a fine and needed some information to include as a attachment for my appeal.
It was a really simple question but after almost 3 months, i never got a reaction (despite multiple phone calls where they say "it is in progress you get a reaction soon") and my deadline has passed to file an appeal.
Thanks municipality, for your worst customer experience ever. Unfortunately I cannot give -5 stars which are by far most appropriate."

"A lovely building based of the original design from the 17th century. This building was burned down twice.
The tower is the most famous part since it was used to play melodies with the bells through the century. Today, it still plays melodic tunes between 11:30 and 12:30"
