"recently visited Aquazoo Leeuwarden and it was a very enjoyable experience. The highlights for me were definitely the polar bears and the penguins. Most of the animals here are either aquatic or live close to water, and the zoo has done a good job of recreating natural habitats for them. It didn’t feel like the animals were simply in cages – walking through the park felt more like exploring a forest where you could watch the animals up close, see their feeding times, and observe their natural activities.
That being said, I think there is still room for improvement. The place could be cleaner and more modern, and it would be great if there were guides to explain more about the animals. Also, using more interactive or digital displays could make the visit even more engaging.
