Reviews Summary
Baron 1898 is widely praised as an incredible thrill ride with stunning theming that immerses visitors in an 1800s mine. Guests love the dramatic 37-meter drop and the smooth, intense ride experience. However, long wait times, especially during peak periods, are a common drawback.
"It's an interesting roller coaster. The acceleration at the drop is very fast, by the time you realise it you're already out of the tunnel. You only notice how high you are when it stops for a couple of seconds before the drop. The seats are comfy, the ride is only a few seconds. The queues can be long, on bank holidays, schools week off especially be prepared for 1 hour waiting or even more. The staff is nice and helpfull, all speaking good English. Recommend giving it a go, it's fun."
