What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Keukenhof Gardens for its breathtaking beauty and unparalleled floral displays, calling it a 'spring dream.' The sheer variety and vibrant colors of the tulips are a major highlight. However, some find the gardens can become extremely crowded, especially during peak times, and recommend visiting on weekdays or early in the morning to mitigate this.
"Took bus express and then once there we hired bikes and bikes all around the fields! Best way to see tulips rather then going to the garden - choose this option if you prefer less touristy activities 😬"

"Wondering why my review from yesterday was not posted. I'm expecting a decent t reply, yet nothing.
Bus driver there was awesome. Driver home was video chatting fornthe 1st 25 minutes, went the wrong direction out of Keukenhoff, and spent 15 minutes getting us back on track. All the while, distracted driving with a double-decker load of bus goers . I talked to a rep when we got back to This Is Holland. She had already seen my review, yet, I have not heard back nor have I seen my review. Is it because they don't want it known?
They may not post the pictures, because it shows the driver, however he should be known. I also have pictures screenshots of Google maps showing the messed up route he took us on.
I would definitely take public transit if going to the gardens."

"The tulip garden in Amsterdam is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places to visit, especially during the spring season (Mid-April), when the flowers are in full bloom. This garden is a true paradise for nature lovers and flower enthusiasts alike, and it's easy to see why.
The moment you step into the tulip garden, you'll be overwhelmed by the colorful display of tulips that stretch out as far as the eye can see. The tulips come in a variety of hues, including reds, pinks, oranges, yellows, and even purples. The sight of these vibrant colors against the lush greenery of the garden is truly breathtaking.
As you stroll through the garden, you'll notice that the tulips are arranged in neat, orderly rows, adding to the overall aesthetic appeal of the garden. The careful planning and maintenance that goes into this garden is truly evident.
In addition to the tulips, you'll also find other varieties of flowers in the garden, such as daffodils, hyacinths, and crocuses. These flowers only serve to enhance the already stunning beauty of the garden.
Aside from the flowers, the tulip garden in Amsterdam also offers a range of activities and amenities for visitors. You can take a guided tour to learn more about the history and cultivation of tulips, or you can simply relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. There are also shops and cafes on site where you can buy souvenirs or enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the scenery."
