What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise the 'H'ART Museum Amsterdam for its engaging exhibitions, particularly the immersive digital art experiences that bring Dutch Masters to life. The museum's central location and the potential for unique photo opportunities are also highlighted as positives. However, some find the standard ticket prices to be on the higher side, though alternative entry options have been noted.
"Fantastic really, beautiful art well displayed. There was enough information without being overwhelming, each piece had enough space to be viewed at its best, while also being grouped in ways that helped guide visitors in comparing.
Also the conservation work was exceptional both in terms of making it possible to view the pieces as the artists saw them, and in terms of consistency and working with the lighting."

"The exhibition "From Rembrandt to Vermeer" is excellent. To be frank, I had hoped to see more than one Vermeer painting. However, in this exhibition there is so much more to see than Vermeer. I stood in front of the "Young Woman Seated at a Virginal" painted by Vermeer and I could not help thinking of all the aged people I had been looking at a few minutes ago and wondered if Vermeer had painted anything else than porcelain faces. Strange, isn't it?"
Hator Meier
"An amazing place to visit in Amsterdam, steeped in hundreds of years of history that really makes you see the city in a very different light afterwards.
Not too text heavy so you aren't exhausted by the experience. And we were fortunate to see so many classic Rembrandt, Vermeer and other painters in a truly inspiring show.
Sit outside afterwards and enjoy the peaceful interior square in the sunshine and have a drink and a treat."
