We had an amazing time here! The glow-in-the-dark setup and vibrant colors create a really unique and fun atmosphere. The mini-golf courses are well designed, entertaining, and suitable for all ages. "We visited here a while ago and enjoyed the golfing there as it was an experience we hadn't had before. The course was fun and of descent length. When we were there, we didn't have a sense of it being over crowded, but we did run into other parties every now and then where we either needed to wait or felt we needed to hurry as the party behind us were catching up on us. I guess it all depends on the size of the party.
We did not have anything to eat or drink so i cant say anything on that, but the restaurant looked fine to me."

"Really strange bar. The aesthetic is all over the place - gorgeous and towering wooden bar area that’s ruined by loud trap music and bizarre furnishings (plus a dilapidated mini golf course in the basement). The beer on tap was warm and flat - too small to be a vaasje, too. Genuinely the worst beer I’ve had in a long time. I hadn’t heard of Amsterdams Pilsner before and now I know why! Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back."

The Glow-in-the-Dark Experience
The 3D aspect adds another layer of challenge and visual intrigue. When wearing the provided 3D glasses, the course designs come alive with depth and perspective shifts, making it harder to judge distances and lines. This feature is a unique selling point, turning each putt into a more engaging puzzle.
Visitors often highlight the vibrant aesthetics and the sheer fun of playing in such a visually stimulating setting. It's a place where the environment itself is a major attraction, encouraging playful competition and memorable moments.
Course Design and Playability
However, some reviews point out that the maintenance of the course elements can be inconsistent. While many find the holes fun and well-designed, a few visitors have noted that some obstacles were in disrepair, potentially affecting the playability. This can lead to delays if groups need to navigate around damaged sections or wait for others.
The pace of play can also be influenced by the number of players. During busy periods, waiting times between holes can occur, which might lead to overstimulation in the intense environment for some. It's often recommended to visit during off-peak hours for a smoother experience.
Atmosphere and Socializing
Many visitors appreciate the opportunity to enjoy a drink while playing, enhancing the overall social experience. While the bar itself has received mixed reviews regarding music and drink quality, the presence of a refreshment area adds to the convenience and enjoyment of a night out.
Overall, Glow Minigolf Amsterdam is positioned as a fun, engaging, and visually stimulating activity that encourages interaction and creates memorable moments for groups looking for something different to do in the city.
