What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Fabrique des Lumières for its stunning immersive art, captivating visuals, and the magical atmosphere created by light and sound. The unique setting within Westergasfabriek and interactive elements like the mirror room are highlights. Some find the initial advertising segment a bit long, but overall, it's considered a memorable and highly recommended experience for all ages.
"Visited Fabrique des Lumières and overall had a very good experience. The space is impressive, the atmosphere is immersive, and the visuals paired with the music create a wonderful effect.
The only thing that felt a bit disappointing was the long advertising segment before the main show. It took away from the momentum, and I wish it were shorter.
Apart from that, it’s definitely a place worth visiting — memorable and beautifully done."

"Hats off to Nay for just a perfect customer experience and a wonderful start to my experience. I had to change one of my tickets for another day and it was effortless experience thanks to her and just really made my day.
I found the Monet exhibition very moving. All I could keep thinking was about how much beauty there is in the world and how lucky I am to be able to experience it! Make sure go towards the back and the AI photoboth / its €4 but very interesting to see a portrait of yourself Monet-ized!
I ended up also just putting the camera down and just experiencing the artwork the first time around, and then the second time knew which photos to take. The experience is roughly an hour and the music was super.
Monet was accompanied by a short on Rousseau and this was again put together very nicely. Definitely recommend walking around and checking out the mirror room too!
Appreciate the free lockers, especially as then don’t need to carry in winter paraphernalia! All in all a lovely way to enliven an otherwise dreary winter afternoon- recommended!"

"This experience was surreal and blew me away. I’m not much of an art person, but the way the lights change and flow create a beautiful story. The music/sound paired with the changing images made me feel like I was in the story of the paintings. There are lockers available free of charge which is a big plus. I’d highly recommend this experience!!"
