"The experience I had using the city sightseeing tours (bus) in Amsterdam was very poor unfortunately.
It was more of just a bus journey than a city sightseeing tour. I have been on two of these in other cities (Belfast&Glasgow) the quality of these tours was to a much higher standard and much better.
During our tour on several different buses around Amsterdam city, the headphones did not work, the translation to English and other languages was very minimal and there was little to no input from the tour guides.
On every other city sightseeing tour the guides have always given the tour wether in English or otherwise. The information was still given for all on the bus by the tour and the option of headphones given.
There are also no clear signs as to where the bus stops are, and on some occasions we waited nearly an hour for a bus to not turn up at all.
I was left extremely disappointed by the service provider especially for the amount of money spent to use the city sightseeing tour."

You can purchase tickets at their office inside central station with available options, or directly at their office in city about 250 mt away from station.The buses depart from Position B near the station. The buses are comfortable, and the guides are friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even better. Different tour packages are available on a daily basis, so you can choose what fits your schedule best. Highly recommended!"

"Amsterdam hop on hop off river cruise is highly recommended taking tough on and off off the main central parts of Amsterdam but the hop on hop off bus was very disappointing with just a periphery circuit of the outer city apart from an unnecessary course change to/from a diamond outlet with a wasted 10 minute stop."
