What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Casa Migrante Amsterdam is cherished as a vital community hub and cultural space, particularly for its Spanish library and migrant art exhibitions. Visitors express deep gratitude for its support services, especially the Dutch language classes. While the space's potential is widely recognized, some reviews note instances of rudeness from staff, contrasting with the otherwise welcoming atmosphere.
"What a hidden gem! It should be a community center with performance arts...The acoustics are amazing! As is the potential! Such a shame it isn't fully used!
I love the library, filled with thousands of books in Spanish, whose immigrants are currently using part of the building... Their original art, is shown in an adjacent room. The courtyard is amazing as well. All this space is only partially used, in a city desperate for space for an endless variety of needs. Sad! This building has the potential to fulfill an endless variety of needs."

"I only have infinite gratitude to Casa Migrante, thank you for existing, for helping so many people... a hug to you for your great work."
Rodrigo Ayares
"An nice old Argentinian woman was checking something for my wife and I and a chubby short tanned man who also works there, 38-45 years old, was very rude to her, treated her horribly for insisting on helping us out. She was at least 80. Poor old woman, I was so outraged."
