"Went there accidentally to get some hot drinks. The stuff was friendly, but a bit relaxed - waited for give the order about 15minutes (there were not a lot of people). The view is nice, especially in the evening. We took a cappuccino ☕️, hot chocolate (but it was note like cocoa drink) and a cocktail 🍹Also tested “the best apple pie in the city” - a lot of apples in it. I would say it is average, my wife liked it but definitely not “the best”.
The music was calm and relaxing, nice lighting and candles on tables create cozy atmosphere.
Recommend to visit for a view and atmosphere 😊"

"This is a must on your to-do list in Amsterdam. This wonderful place is located in a former jail, which was converted into a shopping center after a renovation in 2017.
You have to take the elevator to the top floor, where you’ll get the most amazing views of the city. Since the buildings are relatively low, you can clearly see the main landmarks such as the Royal Palace, the Rijksmuseum, Centraal Station, and several church bell towers.
The staff is also very kind. We were very lucky because one of the waitresses was from Latin America, so we were able to speak Spanish with her.

"really REALLY good food. I got the chicken pita, lemonade, small soup and coffee. I asked for non spicy chicken pita and they delivered. It was delicious. Very good sauce and the chicken is peeerfect. My boyfriend got a cheeseburger and he agreed, the meat is nice and tender and the sauce is delicious. Our orders came fast and our lemonades were very yummy and lemony. Really nice view, clean and cozy seats, friendly staff, english/dutch menus and above all, affordable.
The only problem I would have is that they had forgotten to bring my soup however thats a completely fair mistake to make and once I mentioned it they got me a free blueberry muffin as compensation. Truly nice people.
I definitely recommend and I will be coming here again.
