"We stumbled across the Amsterdam Dungeon whilst roaming the city streets of Amsterdam and thought it would be a fun way to burn off an hour or two until our dinner reservation. We could never have suspected how much fun we would have or how immersive and well thought out this attraction would be. Live actors perform well-scripted reenactments of European horror stories, both those based in historical fact and those rooted in legend and lore. The actors themselves were absolutely phenomenal and never broke character, the scenes were deeply immersive and engaging (at times hilarious, too) and you'll be surprised by how deep the dungeons go as you are guided from scene to scene. Audience participation is a big part of the show, as well, so don't be surprised if you're branded a witch or a thief! To be sure, there are more "cultural" ways to spend a few hours in the City, but as lovers of both theme parks and haunted houses around the world, this experience was a perfect and seamless blend of the two. If we had it all to do over again, the only thing we would do differently is to purchase tickets in advance - as there is a €3 discount for pre-purchasing online - however, the full ticket price when we visited was €27 and that rate seemed more than fair for the experience we were able to enjoy. We had so much fun and can't wait to return for another tour with friends and family on our next visit to the city!"

The staff were outstanding. Really funny, cheeky in a good-natured way, and clearly enjoying what they do. The humour was spot on and kept the whole experience entertaining without ever feeling forced.
The costumes and acting were excellent and genuinely had you on edge, never knowing what was coming next. Even though this must be performed day in, day out for different visitors, it never once felt dull or like the staff were fed up going through the motions. Every scene felt fresh, engaging, and full of energy.
Massive credit to the team for making it such a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to Amsterdam. Highly recommended."
