What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking beauty of the Cherry Blossom Park, especially during the short spring bloom, describing it as a magical, must-see experience. Many appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity for a relaxing picnic. However, the park can become extremely crowded during peak times, particularly on weekends, which can detract from the serene experience.
"Sunny Saturday, so perfect weather for a lovely walk in the park. Isn’t it amazing how nature unfolds the beauty of spring? 🌸 The air was crisp, with a soft breeze whispering through the trees, as if nature itself was sighing in contentment. I wandered beneath the blush of cherry blossoms, their delicate petals drifting like confetti in the wind. Each step revealed a new burst of color—vibrant tulips, dainty daisies, and the sweetest scent of freshly bloomed flowers.
The park was alive with the sounds of birds singing. Everything felt so alive, as if the earth itself had woken up from a long slumber, ready to embrace the warmth of the sun. Moments like these make me pause and appreciate the simple, beautiful wonders of the world. 💐✨"

It is very crowded at weekends, so I suggest visiting on other weekdays, to have a much more calming experience.
It's a nice place to visit also when not in blooming, but if you are there when blooming, don't miss it 🙂"

"The place is very pretty especially when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom during the 2nd and 3rd week of March. After that the flowers generally wither away. You don’t get a bus directly till the park, but till Aalsmer. After that it’s a 2 km walk which is 100% worth it on a sunny day as it takes you through a passageway through a forested land. After a walk of around 20 minutes you reach the park with really great food stalls in front of it."
