"Great location, beautiful theater, but if you're booking an event there with a meal, I HIGHLY suggest you go elsewhere for one reason. The personnel here are AWFUL!

I arrived early at the event but nobody seemed to know what I was talking about. I finally found the room upstairs where the personnel was busy setting up for dinner. I stood in the door with an inquisitive look on my face but staff just looked at me and ignored me.

Then I saw the technical team preparing on our stage and I went to speak to them. They were very friendly (and as I found out later not part of the theater crew).

As I waited for the event organizers to arrive I decided to check the program (of which I was part) with the tech crew and grabbed a chair to run through my notes.

That's when a older guy who had ignored me earlier (turns out he was the head of service) started SCREAMING at me: NO NO NO NO, PUT THAT BACK NOW!

I tried to explain who I was and what I was doing there but he would not listen and continued yelling about RUINING THE SET UP! He refused to have a normal conversation so I returned the chair and exited the room to wait for the others.

In the meantime Mr. Scream was clearly gossiping about me to his crew as if I had taken a chainsaw to the room.

Later that evening the event started and I was shown to my sear by a bored and unprofessional staff. A week before I had filled in a form, sent by the theater, about dietary wishes. I had checked the box "no fish" and thought that was that...

As the first course was being serves one of the rude waitresses appeared behind me and half-asked as if offended, "are you the vegetarian?" in the same tone you might ask someone "are you the murderer?"

I started to answer "No... " and she huffed away, clearly mad about something. If she had cared at all to listen she would have heard me say, "No, but I did ask for no fish."

5 minutes later the first course was set in front of me. Some small salad appetizer. I stuck my fork in, took a bite, and my mouth was assaulted with the taste of fish. I politely waited until the army of servers had finished serving everyone and I flagged down the waitress. I told her I ordered no fish and in a very inappropriate tone she said, "I ASKED you if you were vegetarian and you said NO".

Having been treated so poorly it took all my patience not to yell back at her. "Because I am NOT a vegetarian but I don't eat fish". She rolled her eyes and walked away.

I assumed she was going to get my non-fish dish, but no... 10 minutes later the servers reappeared and began clearing everyone's plates. I decided to bite my tongue...

However, they did not clear my fish dish and just left it there... 10 minutes later they reappeared again with the second course. Again, I was served fish which they simply placed next to my previous dish.

At this point I was frustrated and hungry so I grabbed both plates and walked back towards the prep area where I found Mr. Scream was expediting. I set both plates down and said, "I'm sorry but I orderbedrag no fish". He completely ignored me and I returned to my table, still not having had a thing to eat.

The third course came and things went better. I did order a cola three times and it never arrived.

During the main course (I had one bite and it was delicious) I was called up to speak for literally two minutes. When I returned my plate had been removed for NO REASON as the other guests were still eating.

I returned to the staging area and said to Mr. Scream "someone has taken my main course". He raised his voice and said "You have been nothing but a problem since the moment you arrived!"

At this point I could have shouted back, asked for a manager or simply punched him but instead I walked away, grabbed my coat and left.

The best part: Later on the event organizer called me and said the staff had complained about me!!!

Unbelievable! Never again! Do not give this venue your event business but do support theater and the arts!"

"Coffee, tea, lemonade was supposed to be free after the show. Order a cappuccino, and they want to charge the full price. As if there is no coffee (which is free) in the cappuccino at all. Maximum would pay the difference between the normal coffee and the cappuccino.

Staff is rude and unfriendly. While speaking and stating the weird pricing, just goes away. If you can't handle working in the service industry, and speak with clients, please don't work there. Especially with for a very small amount of coffee, coming from a machine, at a 3 euro price."
