Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the National Beer Museum De Boom Alkmaar for its engaging exhibits on beer history and its incredibly generous beer tasting included with admission. The friendly staff and unique 'Museumbiers' are frequently highlighted as major positives, making it a highly recommended experience for beer enthusiasts and curious travelers alike.

"I could only get there at around 4pm and was told because they close in an hour I can only see the museum and not have the beer samples which I was disappointed with. The museum itself is interesting, I was instructed to scan a QR code and there's numbers around the museum you type in to listen to subjects on the history. A good interactive idea but after the first few I gave up as it sounded like a poor AI audio description from Wikipedia or equivalent. Plus the numbers did not seem to go in order around the museum. Maybe if I went here during the day I would have had a better experience but I would advise don't bother going later in the afternoon as they don't seem to want you there."
