Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Phat Quoc Tu Temple for its intricate traditional Vietnamese architecture, detailed artwork on the roofs, and serene gardens. It's considered one of the most beautiful pagodas in the area, offering a peaceful atmosphere for reflection. However, some guests have encountered ongoing renovations, which can limit full access.

"Huge premises, excellent detailing, the stairs, the lake, artificial and real birds, sloping roofs designed as mountains, very pretty art work, but the garden is not properly maintained. Visited during August 2023, there was construction going on near the garden area. Hope once the construction work is done, we can enjoy the beauty of this place."

Pranav Poojary

"This temple was closed for renovations as of May 2024, so I can't in good conscience give it 5 stars.

However from what I could see from the outside, it looked like one of the more beautiful ones. The bridge and arch leading to the temple were beautiful and looked very quintessentially Vietnamese, and the temple inside looked like the One Pillar Pagoda in downtown Hanoi (which was my favorite in the whole country).

Once the renovations are complete I would wholeheartedly recommend visiting this temple"

"One of the best pagoda in town, old but beautiful scenery from Viet Nam and view from high position"
