Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the unparalleled wildlife viewing at Etosha's waterholes, especially Okaukuejo, calling it a 'magical' experience. The convenience of seeing animals from the rest camp is a major highlight. However, some find the accommodation a bit dated and the restaurant food uninspiring and pricey, with limited options for specific diets.

"Comfortable accommodation if a little tired. Restaurant OK but uninspiring with not much choice. All made up for by the amazing waterhole - worth staying just for this.
Game drive not worth the money - disappointing and better just to drive yourself."

Claire Brooke-Wilson

"Really great stay at Okaukuejo in Etosha. The camp is well run and our room was clean and well maintained. The food is on the pricey side if you are paying with Rands or NAD and there are very limited options particularly for us plant based folk. Definitely worth a visit."

Blake Meilhon

"I stayed at the chalets nearby. So incredible to sit with a bottle of wine and watch the animals slowly approach the watering hole. The floodlight was great for viewing. Such amazing sunsets too. I was lucky enough to see at least seven different rhinos, an elephant, and other smaller creatures. What a beautiful area! If you stay at this lodge, definitely select a chalet and stop at the watering hole!"
