Visitors rave about the breathtaking panoramic views and the unique, otherworldly rock formations of the Valley of Ghosts. The opportunity for stunning sunrise and sunset photography is a major draw, though it can lead to crowds. Some find the steeper trails challenging, but alternative routes and vehicle access are available.
"It's very beautiful, you can ride a motorcycle to the top."

"An excellent peak, though not categorized, just for a walk!)) The main thing is to get there in good weather. We climbed from the Angarsk Pass (first there is a drop in altitude, and then - again a climb). The path is good. The panorama from the top is fantastic. Below the peak is the Valley of Ghosts. In general, it is worth it!"

"Surprisingly, not everyone can climb this peak... That's why this weekend walking route is categorized as "for the strong and brave". The steepest climb is along the path that goes from the village of Luchistoye along the shortest route. The slope is rocky and crumbles under the feet of the slender legs of young girls. That's why it's easier to climb along the path that goes through Solnechnaya Polyana. For the lazy and physically weak, local enterprising citizens offer an ascent in vehicles with increased cross-country ability.
Southern Demerdzhi is an object of pilgrimage for a huge number of photographers. Sunrises and sunsets at the top are especially picturesque and are reflected in at least a million photos.
One enthusiastic photographer, who was met at the top, complained about the inability to take a good photo because of the large crowd of photographers who do not allow them to get to places with the most interesting angles at the most opportune time for photography. And this despite the fact that he spent the night there in a tent in the hope of being first in line in the morning! ;-)"
