What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Kasbah des Oudayas for its stunning blue and white architecture, breathtaking ocean views, and charming, historic atmosphere. It's praised as a free, picturesque escape that feels like a living museum. However, some caution is advised regarding unsolicited guides who may try to charge for their services.
"Great place, very beautiful. It has great viewpoint and really nice vibe. However, please be aware of the scammers who say that it will close soon and they will take you around because they will only want to take your money"
Iva Krasimirova
"This is a
Fascinating area to walk around with some great views of the Altlantic ocean. It is a warren of little lanes that you can get lost in but it really isn’t that big so not a real problem. There are guides available but agree a price upfront. Also beware that if you are walking around on your own people will approach you and start talking to you. These then turn out to be guides and will demand money even if you have not agreed to it. This happened to us. A older man started talking to us unprompted and started explaining things he then demanded a lot of money, which we refused to pay. So beware but it is a good place to walk around."

"A delightful well restored fortified town with a beach attached. Inhabited by real people do doesn’t feel like a museum.
Shame they have changed their original colour scheme of white-and-blue walls though."
