Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Moroccan Culinary Art Museum for its beautiful architecture, free entry to exhibits, and delicious cafe offerings, especially the pastries. Many highlight the engaging cooking classes as a must-do experience. While the cafe prices are noted as higher, the overall atmosphere and quality make it a highly recommended destination for food lovers and culture enthusiasts seeking a peaceful retreat in Marrakesh. "We spent 4 hrs in the tea salon to wait for the heat to subside … It seemed like this is the only air conditioned place.
While the architecture is traditional, the wood details were exquisite and it was a treat to look up from the court yard.
The prices were higher than other cafe’s around, however, either the 100% tourist customers, it is not at all strange to find the cafe rather full around noon.
Staff is friendly and helpful though the orders were … slow. Yet for tourists that don’t like to be in the heat, it appeared to be ok with every body.
The menu is large enough for tapas and snacks. We did not stay for dinner …"

"We love this place!! We visited for the first time a year ago just to buy some pastries (which were honestly out-of-this-world delicious), and had the sweetest tour from Naila — she's so kind, speaks perfect English, and showed us around the stunning traditional Moroccan-style building. Such a hidden gem!

This year, we loved it so much we came back twice! First time was for lunch at their beautiful restaurant — I had the veggie couscous and my daughter had the lemon chicken tagine, after starting with some amazing Moroccan salads. Everything was super tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly kind and professional too, which just made the experience even better.

Then... we came back the next day for a cooking class! 😍 We made salads, fish tagine, and a dreamy orange blossom pastilla. Dada (the chef/teacher) was sooo skilled, really patient and lovely to learn from. And Naila was with us again, translating everything perfectly and just being the warm, wonderful person she is.

Highly recommend this place for food lovers, culture fans, or anyone who wants a truly special Moroccan experience. 💕"

"A five stars place to visit. We visited the museum and enjoyed drinks in the cafeteria. The place is beautiful and very well maintained. The cafeteria atmosphere was good and Houcine made it great. Unfortunately we didn’t have the chance to try the rooftop restaurant. Recommend the free museum and beautiful cafeteria."
