What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Sidi Abdelhamid Viewpoint for its spectacular panoramic views of Chefchaouen's blue medina and its historical significance as the city's earliest footprint. The peaceful garden offers a nice contrast to the bustling streets. However, some find the 80 DHS entry fee to be on the higher side for the experience, and note the limited English information available.
"Very beautiful place, entry 80 for one adult. (Watch out for people at the gate offering you to help get in for a higher price). There is only one entrance located in the middle connected to the big square.
The tower gives you a beautiful view of the Medina and the garden is very pretty. Unfortunately most of the explanation text is in French, Spanish or Arabic, no English. It’s small but beautiful nonetheless."

"I had an unforgettable experience visiting the Kasbah in Chefchaouen. Every corner is preserved beautifully, giving a real sense of the town’s rich history. The museum inside is informative, and the gardens are a peaceful retreat. But what truly stood out were the spectacular panoramic views from the ramparts—perfect for unforgettable photos and peaceful moments.
The staff were welcoming and helpful, adding warmth to the visit. A must-visit if you're in Chefchaouen—authentic, scenic, and brimming with charm!"

"Bought a ticket on sight for 80dhs. I had seen the Kasbah from viewpoints of the city so was keen to look inside. Great experience to visit the earliest footprint of Chefchaouen. Digital exhibitions not functioning and not much English language in the signage but awesome anyway. The origins of the city! Go early"
