Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Rumija Peak for its absolutely stunning, sweeping views that encompass the sea, lake, and mountains, calling it a 'fascinating' and 'beautiful' hike. The spiritual atmosphere and the rewarding challenge of the ascent are also frequently highlighted. Some caution is advised regarding the wind at the summit and the presence of wildlife.
"The most beautiful view from the top of the mountain, on one side there is sea and on another side lake, third side you can see rest of Montenegro coast mountains and on the forth side you can see Albania, really fascinating and worth hiking. Top of the mountain can be very windy, so be careful when returning back, follow markups. There is not so much sun shadow on the track, so make sure to bring your sun lotion and hats if you are going on a sunny day. Start of the tour is 100-200m from Russian church, so do not miss it as I did. Tour is middle hard (6.5-7 of 10) so you have to be in some shape to attend it. Bring some water because there is no water sources on a track. Tour is about 2.2km in one direction with around 550 meters ascend. Have a save trip and great day!"

"Wonderful hike from old bar to the top of Rumija. Generally beware of the nose viper (the only dangerous here in Montenegro). A confrontation is rare but I met one.
Tour date: 13.09.2022
2nd Tour: 28.07.2023, all paths are in a good condition. Bring enough water."

"Very atmosphere place of power which gives you power and inspiration for long time. The history and surrounds of it make you work hard, but then, on the top, they can ennoble and grant you."
