Reviews Summary

Cenote Isla Alamos offers a secluded jungle experience with the potential for complete solitude, appealing to those seeking an off-the-beaten-path adventure. However, visitors note the challenging access road, potential for neglect, and a sometimes high entrance fee. It's a cenote with significant charm but requires managing expectations regarding its upkeep and cost.

"Hard to find from the road & Very rough terrain. 100 pesos per person to enter (way too much). The actual cenote was hard to find down the road, trees had grown over the sign so we went wayyy past it. When we got there it was basically abandoned. It could be nice but really seems neglected."

Maya Imani

"The road is very rocky and off the beaten track, which is cool at first but it continues for roughly 2km.
This cenote has so much potential, but similar to the other reviews it's overgrown, difficult to find and not worth the 100mxn per person."

Arran Cann

"This cenote has some strong points and some weak points. The advantage of it is that it's quite private: we came around noon and we had the cenote entirely to ourselves. This makes it a romantic experience for a couple. The temperature of the water and the cave cools you down on a hot day. For disadvantages, this cenote is small and buried in the woods making it difficult to find. We also made a mistake of hiking up to it from a nearby treehouse airbnb and it was exhausting to do it in the heat. Definitely come by car (beware: the road is a little rough). One side of the cenote is full of bats, whereas the other smaller part is ok for swimming. There is a rope to help you get down. To conclude, if you are someone adventurous and have already seen other cenotes, you may choose this one as an extra one to visit. However, if you are limited on time, another cenote might be a better option."
