"This was my favorite museum in Monterrey. Stop reading reviews. You want the element of surprise. Come here with an open mind. Spend some time and make sure you watch the video in the gift shop. Unlike most museums, there is enough English to understand the exhibits and the video has subtitles. Do buy tickets online ahead of time."

"Small but incredible collection. The pieces were absolutely astonishing. Much more included than I would have guessed from the outside!"

"Definitely worth a visit. Taken from the collection of Mauricio Fernandez, former mayor of SanPedro, NL. The exhibition is his collection. If you are interested in artifacts both geological and from natural history (there are some impressive peces like in the Natural History Museum in London). Also a set up of his study has an eclectic collection of pieces of interest.
There is information in both English and Spanish which is rather limited. You can scan a QR code which gives you an interactive look at individual pieces in more detail, but as the mobile phone network is weak in the basement, , it's very slow and intermittent....ASK AT THE TICKET OFFICE FOR THE WIFI PASSWORD BEFORE TAKING THE LIFTCDOWN TO THE BASEMENT WHERE THE EXHIBITION IS.
I gave the place 4 stars rather than 5, not because it's not a good exhibition but because there are insufficient direction signs, from the car park so you end up wondering around trying to find where to get in. (Put "ENTRANCE ' above the entrance.....) .Also no floor plans showing what else the complex holds, I think I missed some of it because of this. Overall however, I'll definitely visit again."

👨👩👧 Families with Kids
It's advisable to prepare children for the museum's focus on artifacts and collections. The bilingual information is helpful for families with diverse language backgrounds. While the museum is praised for its content, some practical aspects have been noted.
