Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Ex Hacienda de Chautla for its stunning natural beauty, fairytale-like castle, and incredibly affordable admission fees. It's a peaceful escape offering enjoyable activities like boat rides and scenic walks, making it a highly recommended spot for families and budget travelers.

"This place in very special for me! Not easy to get there though 🚗 so have been just once!

The nature is so precious here, and there’s plenty of place to walk and observe!

Perfect for a Day with family ☺️🌟

There’s a restaurant close to Hacienda. Dogs 🐕 just walk around the tables 🤣 We were having lunch outside.

I recommend this for its beauty and absolutely stunning Nature! 🌳💦"

"The ex-hacienda de Chautla was absolutely beautiful and stunning. I had been wanting to go for the longest time and it was worth it. It’s situated on a lake that you can go fishing for trout, take a paddle boats, zip line or even eat at their restaurant. It’s such a peaceful place and very enjoyable just to walk around and see the view. You can easily bring your own food to have a picnic or there are food stalls right outside the entrance. The parking was very reasonable (57 pesos or approx $3 USD) and the admission fee was 45 pesos (approx $2.30 USD). Once you get in the castle they have a gift shop and take your picture that you can purchase later. I believe there are other parts of the hacienda on the property that we didn’t get to explore due to town restrictions but you could easily spend many hours here"

Kelsey Perez Lopez

"The estate boasts a pleasant environment with affordable admission fees. Despite weekend crowds, ticket purchasing is quick with minimal queues. The expansive public parking area ensures convenient parking and swift entry. The estate features a large lake, while the estate itself is not vast. Visitors can access the entire estate by climbing stairs without extra charges, although there may be some wait time. The view from the top covers the entire estate. The only drawback is the narrow and potentially time-consuming staircase ascent, requiring caution and patience. Overall, a visit to this estate, like Puebla, is worthwhile for sightseeing – it's a place worth stopping by if you appreciate scenic views and tranquil surroundings."
