"We went into the cathedral of Campeche on a Wednesday. The church was empty and only three people were in the cemetery right next to the church (you can go there via the church door in the left). It is a imposant building from the outside and looks very nice also at night. The inside is ok but not that great - just have a Quick Look inside."

"A handsome looking catholic church but one that does not stand out in any way from the myriad of other churches reviewed on this site. Single nave, barrel vault structure is whitewashed both inside and out with the exception of the façade which is stone and fairly straightforward. The interior is very simple and fairly small. the church is a must-see in Campeche, but in any European city, this church would be a tertiary option for a traveler."
