"It is easy to arrive if you follow the signs in the road or just the location in Google Maps. The road gets unpaved but doable for any 2WD vehicle. You'll arrive and park on the large parking spot on the left of the road on your way in. Before starting the hike, you'll have to pay 50 pesos per person to the booth guy and start walking the canyon by yourself. The hike may take you between 1 h and 2 h depending if you do the entire Sendero Choluga on top of the Sendero Ojo de Agua and how many stops/photos you take. It is easy to follow the path but you require to have some physical ability to go over some branches and rocks, nothing crazy but definitely some fitness. The total distance is around 3 km, and you have to turn around when you find the shallow caves at the end of any of the two trails; there is not preferred other to do it, just walk until you find the divider sign, then choose either Sendero Ojo de Agua or Choluga go and come back to the sign and then do the other trail and come back to the sign and then back to the parking lot. There are also some information signs, cairns and arrows along the guide to provide you with more information. I think it is probably one of the best hikes to do in the San Carlos area after the Cerro Tetakawi."

There is a point where you can climb a ladder to get to the next level, if you aren't comfortable doing that, you don't have to, you can wait for others that do.
I'm afraid of heights, but did it anyway, and was really glad I did.
We did it first thing in the morning to avoid intense heat in the later day."
