"This was one of the best all inclusive vacations we had. The resort and it's facilities were awesome and the kids really enjoyed the slide in the pool. Night shows, Kayak and bike tours are certainly an excellent value add.
We saw crocodile, variety of iguanas and the kids even got to see dolphins through the kids club.
All the restaurants were good but making reservations for them was challenging. It could certainly be improved.
One other suggestion for improvement is to have change rooms and showers because our flight was at night past 10 pm but the check out time was noon. So we had a whole day and although we were told we could use the facilities in the resort until we leave, we could not enter the pool because no showers and change rooms were available. So that is something that would certainly be a good addition to the resort.
Overall, I would highly recommend this resort and will not hesitate to book again."

"My parter and I, along with a group of friends from Canada, had a spectacular time at this resort! The pool was a great time, whether you wanted to participate in activities or relax, the ocean front was relaxing, and the staff was amazing! The resort does an excellent job at trying to get people involved in activities around the pool, including soccer, kayaking, and other competitions with the entertainment team. The beach has a volleyball net along with other fun events. The food was great with options for everyone and the staff members accompanied everyone well, while bringing fun and positive energy! The rooms and service are great as well and were comfortable for me and my partner! My partner injured her finger playing volleyball and the staff did an excellent job at ensuring she was attended to promptly and with care. In summary, I would recommend this resort to anyone who wants to have plenty of options to do on their vacation, from relaxing to participating in engaging activities! Thank you El Cid and staff!"

"This was my first time in Mexico and at an all inclusive resort! I had an amazing time - the resort was so clean, the staff was exceptional and all the food was delicious! I’ve heard from others that some resorts, the buffets aren’t great but the buffets here were very tasty!
I really enjoyed that you can access all three resorts during your stay. There are a lot of activities - we played pickle ball, water polo, volley ball, aqua aerobics, spin classes! The resort is also so close to Puerto Morales which is such a beautiful little town - all the locals were so friendly and you feel safe the entire time.
The only downside was that the night life isn’t really there. There’s some events happening throughout the three resorts but I don’t find it’s advertised well and one night we tried finding a live DJ that was advertised but they never showed up."
