Reviews Summary
Playa Coral is praised as a beautiful, less crowded beach with natural shade and a serene atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the turquoise waters and unique abandoned waterslides. However, access can be challenging via rocky paths, and the main entrance through Hotel Villa Mexicana requires a fee.
"Nice beach with tons of rocks , there is access around the cliffs and above from the road"

"My favorite beach in the area. Not busy, not crowded, there is natural shade. Waves as in all of the beaches but you can enter the sea carefully. Nice scenery. I walked there through playa Bacocho and didn't have to pay to the hotel. There are umbrellas you can rent (unsure about the price) and vendors pass by with water / beverages/ seafood. Recommended."

"So happy we found this beach as the others were really busy with people and boats. Turquoise sea, lush palm trees behind you and white sand. It’s quite cool to see the abandoned waterslides too. We rented a parasol from the guy which we were very grateful for and meant we could stay all day. There’s even a little bar to get cold drinks from if you need.
If you have good sandals you can climb over the rocks to the next beach and release baby sea turtles!
The Only Downside is the hotel makes you pay to enter but it’s only $50 per person."
