"I give 5 stars to the beach and the natural landscape, but not to the people. They're not at all friendly; the beach is super, mega dirty. Most of the trash is generated by fishermen. You can find soda bottles, motor oil cans from their boats, and unused nets buried in the sand.
We camped for two days and only saw a few tourists—about 20 at the most—and they were only seen in passing. So far, it's the smallest beach, with fewer people and fewer tourists, and the dirtiest one I've ever seen.
A bit tricky to get to; it's a 3-hour drive from Puerto Vallarta; the last hour before reaching the town is just dirt roads.

They need to know that the ocean isn't a garbage dump, and that turtles are released on nearby beaches. They urgently need to learn not to litter. They can even make money from sorting garbage, but they're really ignorant. They should go to the Mayto turtle farm and learn."
