"I walked by this place a couple times a day not knowing what it was. One day, when there was a performance, the doors were open and saw that it was a performance center. I asked one of the ushers for a program and saw there was going to be a matinee concert in a couple of days. I purchased tickets easily on my phone and they were quite inexpensive too. The process was in Spanish but Google Translate to the rescue! I was excited and looked forward to the program. The guest conductor was the apparently renowned Jose Luis Castillo and the program included Georges Bizet (Sinfonia no. 1)and another composer that I had never heard of before but was quickly a fan of - the French composer Gabriel Faure (Pavana Op. 50 & Suite Pelleas & Melisande, Op. 80)
The hall was a bit rundown in spots here and there but it was a grand lady just showing her age in spots. The ceiling was beautiful. If you can catch a performance, I promise you will thoroughly enjoy yourselves!"
