What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for establishments near the Antigua Estación del Ferrocarril Zacatlán are mixed. While some praise the affordable prices, delicious fruit juices, and central location, others report significant issues with slow and dismissive service, and even concerns about hygiene. It seems to be a place where the value proposition is high for some, but the customer experience can be a gamble.
"Came in a milkshake. Sat down and waited the women working must’ve been on break or lunch so I went and asked if we needed to wait to order or if we could order with them. She rolled her eyes and said just wait while another lady said just tell me what you want. I ordered and while we waited we used the restroom didn’t think anything about it. When we went to pay I expected to just pay the milkshake and they gave me change she said I charged you bc you used the restroom too. I was appalled. Don’t visit this establishment!"

"I edited my original review tonight 03-11-2023. We went here 3 days in a row and today was the most disappointing visit. When you go the cheap place, do not get surprised if the service is trash and they treat you like a shit. Do not worry, we will not come back here again.
This review may not affect their business since mostly their customers are locals who do not check reviews for a restaurant.
We waited for more than 30 minutes on our table for our burger and tostada. They served 2 tables that arrived after us. When we complained, instead of say sorry or apologize (if our order got lost), the lady just asked us if we still wants our order or not. Lol
Of course, we said we did not want our order anymore after knowing her answer. We just paid our juice and kept sitting on our table. The lady even laughed in the kitchen area after talking with us.
If the lady apologized and asked us to wait for the order to be finished, we would understand and probably wait. Unfortunately, in this case, she did not care. You want you want, you do not want, just go away.

The restaurant is 300 meters away from the hotel. They serve lunch menu at 15:30. So, we decided to take burgers for our lunch around 14:30 this afternoon, 01-11-2023.
1. Economic, affordable, food to eat.
2. Entrance accessible for wheelchais.
3. The staff is nice.
4. The fruit juice of mango is excellent.
5. We paid 143 MXN pesos for 3 burgers, 1 liter of mango juice, 1 fruit salad with granola.
6. The location is good since it is close to main street."
