Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Cascada Cacalotenango for its stunning natural beauty and the rewarding hike to the main waterfall, often finding it less crowded than other attractions. The accessibility of the roadside cascade and the option for a guide are appreciated. Some minor drawbacks include the potential for a donation request and the hike's length for some.

"Great place to visit with not that many other people. There's a small waterfall right next to the road. It is a private property so if the owners are there, a small donation will be asked to enter.
A couple meters back from the waterfall (behind the house and church), there's a path that you can hike 20-30 min to get to the bottom of the main waterfall. Amazing views and you will most likely have the place for yourself. The path is marked so its easy to get to the waterfall or you can get a guide at the small waterfall by the road."
