Reviews Summary

The Puente Internacional Córdova de las Américas serves as a vital crossing point, with many appreciating the efficiency of pedestrian routes and the respectful demeanor of some border staff. However, drivers often face significant wait times, and the physical exertion of walking, combined with heat, can be challenging. Reddit

"If you are crossing from Mexico to US by car, there is devide in middle of road halfway the bridge. For those who do not have fast pass, stay on right side. The immigration office is checking every document so be prepared, they checked COVID record but did not scan the QR code. There are limitation of what you can bring into US so understand the requirement to prevent from confiscated. Also sometimes you need to stay in car for hours, go to restroom when going from Mexico. There is rest room on right side of the road near the office going toward US. If walking, the time to walk across is around 15-20 minutes plus wait at immigration office.
Going toward Mexico is almost non-stop."

"I really wanted to score it a 1, but this is only because of the physical labor I must endure everytime I cross over into Mexico, walking. The International Bridge of the America is just fine, it's the time, heat & incline that is challenging, but one I must do, every now and again. On this trip, it was the automobile lanes that were horrendous, while the walking over (pedestrians) lanes, were none. This would be my very first time (also probably only time) when crossing over, to walk up directly to the BP agent, while HE waited for me. Another first would be that BP Agent (?) was kind, personable and cracked a joke with me. Overall the trip was a success and will keep you posted for the next adventure."
