Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the International Museum of the Baroque, particularly its stunning modern architecture and engaging immersive exhibitions. While some found the internal flow a bit unclear and noted restrictions on drawing, the overall experience is highly praised for its artistic merit and architectural grandeur. It's considered a must-visit in Puebla, especially on free Sundays.

"Beautifully curated and very large museum with a mix of classic baroque art and more modern baroque-inspired pieces. Can easily spend 2 hours or more here. Great outdoor space within the museum as well as nice public park surrounding the museum. Highly recommend that you come see this— one of my favorite museums in Puebla!"

Basia Panko

"Fantastic beautiful museum itself, interesting exposition! Thank you, we didn't see anything cool like that in another places in Mexico! Great job 👍"

Наталия Цибизова

"This museum was amazing, architecturally. The exhibits were ok but I did appreciate the many video installations they had.

What was quite bothersome was that the flow within the museum was not clear to anyone and the guards had to keep telling everyone “not that way”, “this way please”, or “that’s an emergency door, please don’t open it”.

Also, I really enjoy drawing when in museums. Unfortunately, I was told I couldn’t bring my notebook in. I understand bags not being allowed. But not allowing a lone notebook was a surprise.

All in all absolutely worth going on free Sundays to see the magnificent architecture and adjacent park."
