"This is a museum that primarily outlines the history of Guadalajara, from Spanish colonization, to the establishing of the city, to culture and politics over the years. There are a few contemporary exhibits, primarily curated by women. My favorite part of the museum was an exhibit called La Charreria, which features the different equestrian sports part of traditional Mexican culture. Entry is free. I’d recommend giving yourself an hour to stroll and enjoy the exhibits, but you could easily spend more time. Gracias ☺️"
