"A newly built monument located at the heart of the entire old district, stood high and tall in white, you barely can look directly at it in the middle of day, as it shines.
There's a statue of a goddess with a pair of wings at the top of the monument, whichever the angle you look at her, she's flying, flying towards a better world.
50 steps from the monument, there's a CHIHUAHUA sign in front of the Pancho Villa wall, kind of a must-check-in location in Chihuahua."

"This plaza is the center & heart of Cd. Chihuahua. The famous angel in the center gets a little tarnished from time to time. The children's splash pool where children were happily playing when I last visited here 5 years ago either wasn't running or has been removed when I just visited last Saturday. Too bad. When I visited before, this was a happy, vibrant place. Not so much this time. Maybe that was because a heavy rain storm as beginning to move in."
